Milford Bakery Receives National Recognition

Milford is once again national recognition for one of its outstanding small businesses.

TripAdvisor has amassed its “50 States Series: Best Local Bakeries Worth Travelling For.”

And for Connecticut, Milford’s Scratch Baking at 58 River Street was the top choice.

The authors of the list write that these are the “best local bakeries in each state worth traveling for.”

“They’re bakeries you might visit with the intention of buying only a crusty baguette to go with dinner and end up leaving with a dozen decadent chocolate cupcakes, or both, instead. Whether you choose a flaky breakfast pastry, an afternoon sweet treat, or an indulgent dessert after dinner, just one bite from these bakeries will leave you happy you stopped in while vacationing in any of the fifty states,” TripAdvisor writes.
