His Milford band was eliminated at the beginning of the competition but that didn’t dampen Fradiani’s spirits — he’s back in the reality TV game again, this time going solo on American Idol.
American Idol’s New York auditions will air at 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 15, on FOX, and footage of Fradiani will be shown, the Hartford Courant reports.

“It’s going to be a great season, and I can’t wait for everyone to see what’s been going on,” he said.
Milford band Beach Avenue, which Fradiani is apart of got eliminated from “America’s Got Talent,” in the summer but in a video the band says they are far from done.
“It was an unbelievable experience, and we’re happy to be apart of it,” the Milford band said. “It opened a lot of new doors for us, tons of new fans. It’s not done for us, we’ll keep playing music.”
The band performed during the Los Angeles auditions of “America’s Got Talent,” which took place April 21-26 in the Dolby Theater.
The name Beach Avenue comes from the street of the Milford house where the members lived. The group has collected more than 14,00 fans on its Facebook page at the time of this article, and the number is growing.
