Milford Bans Underground Electric Vehicle Chargers: Report
The city has banned electrical vehicle charging stations at underground parking lots due to potential fire hazards, according to a report.

MILFORD, CT — The Board of Aldermen recently voted to ban electrical vehicle charging stations from underground garages, Hearst Connecticut reported. The ban comes due to concerns that the stations pose a fire hazard.
Fire Chief Anthony Fabrizi told the board that the stations are potentially explosive devices because of thermal runaway.
