Milford Board of Aldermen Pauses Flock Condor Cameras Pending Committee Review
Since August, the Board has acted to balance public safety, privacy, transparency, and accountability.

MILFORD, CT – On October 5, 2026, the Milford Board of Aldermen voted to temporarily suspend operation of the City's Flock Condor cameras pending further review and recommendations from the Public Safety and Technology Review Committee (PSTRC).
The Board's action is intended to allow the PSTRC to complete its ongoing evaluation of public safety technologies and provide recommendations regarding their use, effectiveness, privacy implications, costs, and oversight. The temporary suspension is not a permanent determination regarding the Flock Condor cameras, but rather a continuation of the Board's commitment to a deliberate and transparent review process.
The Board's action followed extensive discussion among members of both parties. While aldermen held differing views on the appropriate path forward, there was broad agreement that the PSTRC should be given the opportunity to complete its review and provide recommendations.
