Milford Bowling Alley Appears To Be Going Out Of Business: Report
A pitch for new residential units has been submitted to the city at the site of an existing bowling alley.
MILFORD, CT — Devon Duckpin Bowling Lanes appears to be going out of business, according to Hearst Connecticut.
The bowling alley at 551 Naugatuck Ave. has not been in full service for years. According to a message on the bowling alley's answering machine, it is currently open only for private parties.
A proposal was submitted to the city for Devon Duckpin Apartments, with six two-bedroom, three-story units each with a garage. The Planning and Zoning Board will begin reviewing the proposal in the spring, according to Hearst Connecticut.

A call to Devon Duckpin Bowling seeking comment was not immediately returned.
If you're looking to roll some duckpin bowling frames, your options in Connecticut have dwindled. CT Duckpins lists the following towns still have alleys in operation: Danbury, Hartford, Hamden, Cheshire, Torrington, Winsted, Mansfield, and West Haven.

The Winsted alley, Laurel Lanes, was listed for sale in 2019. However, according to its website, the bowling alley is still open six days a week.
