In Milford, Bysiewicz Endorsed by 40 Plus Elected Officials

From Susan Bysiewicz Campaign: Today, Susan Bysiewicz, the Democratic-endorsed candidate for lieutenant governor, received more than 40 endorsements from Central Connecticut elected officials, including State Representatives Kim Rose (Milford), Joe Gresko (Stratford), Phillip Young (Stratford), Mary Mushinsky (Wallingford), Linda Gentile (Ansonia), Lonnie Reed (Branford), and Mayors Ben Blake (Milford), Curtis Leng (Hamden), Nancy Rossi (West Haven), and First Selectmen Matt Hoey (Guilford).The announcement, which took place outside of Milford City Hall and was hosted by Milford Mayor Ben Blake, further illustrates the growing support for Susan’s candidacy among community leaders from across the state.“Susan has proven that she’s a bold and innovative leader,” said Mayor Blake. “There’s no one running for lieutenant governor who is better qualified or better prepared than Susan to deal with the challenges that our state is facing.
That’s why I’m supporting her to serve as our state’s lieutenant governor and encourage others to join me.” State Representative Philip Young stated: “To ensure our state reaches its full potential, we need a lieutenant governor who will focus not only on recruiting new -- and retaining existing -- business in our state, but also on bolstering our school-to-work pipeline. Susan is the only candidate who is truly committed to fighting for what’s necessary to get our state moving in the right direction. That’s why I’m supporting her.” State Representative Lonnie Reed said: “Susan Bysiewicz is the right person, at the right time, for Connecticut’s future.
