Inspired by my mother's passion and dedication to education, I announced that I will be running for the Board of Education in the 5th District. Through her 40 plus years in the Education system, as a Teacher, Vice Principal, Principal, and Adjunct Professor (teaching teachers how to be teachers), I have learned first hand the importance of education.
I have two beautiful daughters, 20 and 15 whom I love more than anything, and will represent them and all the students of Milford as a Board of Education member.

The single most pressing issue facing our town/district is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it. *
Our future. As a financial planner people come to me to take a look at the plan. I test and analyze their plan, and in most cases there are small minor things that need to be changed. Milford is spending an amount per student above the average of schools in other towns, yet we are behind those schools in certain areas, why?
What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post? *
No matter what side of the aisle you are on, providing the best possible learning environment for Milford’s students is priority number one. In order to produce this environment parents, teachers, students, faculty and residents all have to be involved and work together. As a Board of Education representative I will listen attentively and hear all their voices when making decisions for the future.
I have two ears and one mouth, I am here to listen to the students, teachers, faculty, administrators, the community and everyone else involved in our school system and hear first hand what they like, dislike, and would like to see.
I am not into politics, but into results. Education should be bipartisan, what's best for our students.

I am looking towards the future of education. What fields will the jobs our students will be applying for after graduation, or college? Will they be prepared for their future?
A single teacher can change and shape the life of the student for the better. We need happy teachers who are enthusiastic and passionate about their careers. In order for them to be happy we need happy parents, who are equally involved in their child's education. Happy administrators, etc... everyone needs to be on the same page.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
I run a very successful financial practice here in Milford. Through the process I have developed over the years, people entrust me as a fiduciary with their hard earned wealth in order to ensure that they are able to live the lives they desire and are able to achieve all that is important to them by planning and mitigating the risks associated with their retirement plans.
We can and will put a long-term plan in place for the betterment of education here in Milford.
The best advice ever shared with me was ...
Health is Wealth.
