Milford Commission To Consider Sewer Fee

MILFORD, CT — The Milford Sewer Commission is considering a measure that would determine if a sewer service fee of $3,000 per new connection is adequate.

There will be a public information hearing on the proposed fee Wednesday, Sept. 23, at 6 p.m. at the Parsons Government Center at 70 W. River St., Conference Room C.

The fee is intended to pay the costs of operation and maintenance and would be applied to any new connections to the public sewer system.

This covers both newly constructed single-family and multi-family homes, including condominiums and apartments.
