Milford Concert Band Presents Free Concert
Members will perform "Veterans in the Community" at Milford City Hall on Sun., Nov. 8.

The Milford Concert Band, under the direction of Duane Berge, will present “Veterans in the Community” in conjunction with the City of Milford’s Office of the Mayor on Sunday, Nov. 8, at 3:00 p.m. at Milford City Hall, 110 River St.
The concert will take place following the Milford’s Veterans Day parade, which will pay tribute to deployed and retired Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines, Coast Guardsmen, Merchant Mariners and Chaplain stateside and abroad. Several members of the Milford Concert Band are military veterans.
Our program consists of Sousa marches including Semper Fidelis, Pop and Rock medleys from the sixties, seventies, and eighties. Armed Forces Salute is where we turn the spotlight on the vets in the audience. We have two featured pieces, a tribute to the US Navy Band based on the Mariner’s Hymn and Richard Rodgers soundtrack to the miniseries, Victory at Sea.
