He was previously charged in March with defrauding customers out of over $200,000, according to police.

In that case, police began a fraud investigation in December. A victim reported to police that they made a deposit of $68,000 to Addario for the construction of a new house.

In October, after the construction was still not complete, the victim terminated the contract.

The victim contacted police after the builder did not return the deposit, according to police.

Addario, 46, had also taken deposits for two other construction projects totaling about $204,000, police said.

Following his arrest, Addario was in state Superior Court for an appearance in this prior case.

He pleaded not guilty to three counts of first-degree larceny. His attorney declined to comment on the new charges, according to Hearst Connecticut Media.

The new charges are related to a contract for a Noble Avenue home. A homeowner gave Addario a $30,000 deposit and eight more payments totaling another $96,000, Hearst Connecticut reported. However, Addario is accused of not completing the work.
