Milford Declares Snow Emergency

Mayor Blake made the announcement Saturday afternoon.

MILFORD, CT — A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for Milford and that has led Mayor Ben Blake to declare a snow emergency. The snow is forecast to begin this evening and end early Sunday.

"With heavy snow accumulations, driving conditions will be dangerous tomorrow. Residents are asked to stay off public roads and limit travel. As the City prepares for this storm, a snow emergency has been declared," Blake said. "Off-street parking should be utilized whenever possible and in areas where it is necessary to park in the road, Alternate Side of the Street Parking will be in effect beginning at 6 p.m. tonight and continuing until 12 p.m. noon on Sunday. I wish you a safe Presidents' Day weekend."
