
MILFORD, CT — The snow has started to fall in Milford and the city has declared a snow emergency. Off-street parking should be utilized when possible.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Advisory with a forecast of snow, sleet and freezing rain starting Tuesday morning and continuing throughout the day. With heavy precipitation and freezing temperatures, driving conditions will be dangerous and residents are asked to stay off public roads and limit travel.

As the City prepares for this storm, a snow emergency has been declared. Off-street parking should be utilized whenever possible and in areas where it is necessary to park in the road, Alternate Side of the Street Parking will be in effect beginning at 8:00am, Tuesday and continuing until 8:00pm, Tuesday afternoon.
