It was an absolute fairy tale. A lot of the kids on the team will move onto High School next year, so for them to win Nationals in their final season of Pop Warner cheer was very satisfying. The team received a proclamation by the Mayor on Monday February 1st at Town Hall.
The team is made up of 25 kids and 10 coaches. Head Coach, Kyle Thompson and her Assistants Jen Murphy, Jennifer Magdon, Kasey Gagsletter, Des Gill, Olivia Massa, Leah Zinsky and Alicia Carrol. Student Demonstrator, Maddie Murphy. Cheerleaders are Cami Averna, Wendy Roman, Roy Gless, Ava Ciambriello, Kayla Jurzyk, Mackenzie Maher, Jordyn Wirth, Briana DelMedico, Brianna Aguilar, Tatum Gay, Amanda Queiroz, Nicole Jones, Abby Woodward, Gabby Williamson, Eryn Mower, Leala Harris, Isabel Blanco, Audrey Lane, Sarah Paulus, Marissa Turner, Aliya Prosser, Juliana Soto, Stefanie Feher and our two Team Captains, Courtney Thompson and Emily Rednak.
We are so very proud to represent Milford as National Champs. It is a great accomplishment for both the Midget Cheer and Pee Wee Cheer teams to win a National Championship in the same season.
