The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it:
Property taxes. We have a new reevaluation period coming up. Residents may be surprised how much their property values appreciated. It is critical that the Board must control spending and not saddle the taxpayer with unsustainable taxes.
Critical differences between me and my opponents:
My opponents seem to not understand the impact they have on the lives of residents of the city. They seem to side with the mayor. In my past service on the board and I asked the difficult questions and fought for the answers.
Accomplishments:
I was on the Board of Aldermen between 2013-2017. I'm proud of my service. I always tried to do what was in the best interest of the people of Milford and not certain interest groups and partisan favors. I intend to continue that rule.
Other issues:
I’m concerned about the quality of Milford’s education. I will advocate for the fundamentals and nurturing critical thinking in our children and not indoctrination. This alone can assure all students can have a chance to be successful and empower themselves.
What else would you like voters to know about you?
I have a three-year-old son. I want him to have the same opportunities, and more, and that I had when a grew up in Milford. I am concerned that Milford's families are not thriving.
