In terms of my election, electing a probate judge who will be non-partisan, and non-political and who will treat everyone with fairness and compassion.
Critical differences between me and my opponents:
I have been an attorney representing children and families in our courts for over fifteen years. I have had the opportunity to help hundreds of individuals get through some of the most challenging times of their lives. That experience has given me a deep level of compassion and empathy.
My opponent has been an attorney since 2015.
Accomplishments:
I was fortunate enough to get a clerkship at the Connecticut Appellate Court after law school. I worked closely with Judge Francis Hennessy who mentored me in judicial research and writing. We researched and authored numerous judicial decisions and opinions during my term. It was an invaluable experience that gave me great insight into the inner working of judges and our courts.
What else would you like voters to know about you?
I can relate to and understand the problems and struggles of the average citizen. I do not come from a political family. My father, a Vietnam veteran, was a judicial marshal, and my mother was a nurse. They instilled in me the importance of hard work, and integrity and humility, and I will bring those values with me to the Court.
