Milford Finance Board Approves $258 Million Budget
The Milford Board of Finance approved the $258 million budget, cutting $1 million from the school district's request, according to a report.

MILFORD, CT — The Board of Finance passed a $257.8 million combined municipal budget for fiscal year 2024-25, representing a 1.9 percent increase over this year, according to Hearst Connecticut Media.
The budget still needs to be approved by the Board of Aldermen. If it is, it will represent a tax rate increase of 28.72 mills, or about $698 for the average homeowner, Hearst Connecticut Media reported.
The Board of Finance unanimously passed Mayor Anthony Giannattasio's $148 million city budget. In a 3-2 vote, the board also passed a reduced $110 million school budget.
