Milford Fire Department Chosen For Grant Program

The Milford Fire Department recently received funds via the Regional Water Authority​'s First Responder Grant Program.

MILFORD, CT — The Milford Fire Department was chosen to receive funds from the Regional Water Authority's First Responder Grant Program, according to a fire department post on Facebook.

The funds will be used to purchase lumen Milwaukee Rover cordless flood lights, lumen Milwaukee Rover cordless flood lights, and M18 lithium-ion 5-amp hour batteries.

The grant is "a well-deserved recognition of our town’s commitment to public safety and ensuring the well-being of both residents and the brave men and women who serve as firefighters," the fire department wrote.
