The Fire Marshal’s office is on scene and beginning their investigation to determine the cause of the fire.
Original post: A condo fire at 31 Southwind Lane in Milford is under control and out as of 9 a.m. Tuesday, NBC Connecticut reports.
But the circumstances surrounding the fire are unique. A New Haven County State Marshal was on his way to evict residents living in that same unit on Tuesday morning when he noticed that unit was on fire, NBC CT reports.
No one was at home at the time of the blaze, but the report notes it was the occupants last day to leave their home according to the eviction process.
