MILFORD, CT — Milford will hold its start of summer celebration on June 25 (rain date July 9), at Lisman's Landing, complete with fireworks food trucks and live bands.

The fireworks show started about eight years ago when the city celebrated its 375th anniversary, said Dan Worrell, chairman of the city Park, Beach and Recreation Commission. The event was a hit with residents and the city decided to make it an annual event.
