Milford Fireworks, Summer Celebration Details Announced
Milford's start of summer celebration will take place in late June. Here is what to know.

MILFORD, CT — Milford will hold its start of summer celebration on June 25 (rain date July 9), at Lisman’s Landing, complete with fireworks food trucks and live bands.
The fireworks show started about eight years ago when the city celebrated its 375th anniversary, said Dan Worrell, chairman of the city Park, Beach and Recreation Commission. The event was a hit with residents and the city decided to make it an annual event.
A fundraiser is scheduled for Monday, May 9 at Tribus Beer Co. There is a $10 admission fee and all money raised will go towards the summer celebration event. The Rum Runners band will play.
