Milford GOP Announces Mayoral Candidate: Report
The challenger will try and unseat long-time incumbent Mayor Ben Blake this fall.
MILFORD, CT — The local Republican Party has tapped Peter Berube to run for mayor against Democratic incumbent Mayor Ben Blake, Hearst CT reports.
Berube is employed with Milford Bank and is involved in several local groups including the local VFW, Milford Elks and Walnut Beach Association. He has resided in Milford the past 10 years.
He vowed if elected to work in a bipartisan manner and to ensure safety of all residents is a top priority.
