On Sunday, May 6th, the annual will be held in Downtown Milford, CT. The event will take place from 11 am – 4 pm at Fowler Pavilion, located behind the and next to the Wepawaug River. The excitement begins at 11:00 with a craft fair, food, fun, entertainment, giveaways and thousands of adorable rubber ducks! The day includes a Corporate Duck Race for businesses at 12 noon with top prizes from , , , and and the main duck race at 2pm.

Our signature Milford Harbor Duck Race takes place at 2 pm. People of all ages will flock to the river’s edge and watch a sea of yellow rubber ducks race down the falls, giving “Duck Owners” a chance to win one of 95 fabulous prizes. The race will be kicked off by a welcome from Milford Mayor Ben Blake. At 2pm thousands of ducks will begin their journey and race to the finish line.
Anyone can become a “Duck Owner” by purchasing Duck Raffle Certificates ($5 each) at one of many store locations including: Bella Napoli, Café Atlantique, Canvas Patch, Cloud 9 Day Spa, MoJoe’s Gym, Park Lane Deli, Rita’s Ice of Milford and Whole Foods and at the event itself. The Duck Raffle Certificates are numbered and will correspond with a number located on the bottom of each rubber race duck. As theducks finish their race, they will soar through a funnel one by one. The first 95 ducks to finish the race will win their owners one of 95 raffle prizes, which include a one week stay at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, a 42 inch LCD television and a Touch screen Tablet PC. Race winners do not need to be present to win.

In addition to the cheers heard during the Duck Race, Fowler Pavilion will be alive with excitement!
Radio Personality Brian Smith will be the Emcee for the day.
Throughout the day live entertainment will be constant under Fowler Pavilion with performances from Children’s musician Tom Weber, Bagwell Academy of Martial Arts, Carol Farrell Dancers and Live Music by Keltic Kick. In addition to the performances there will be walk around characters from Pantochino Productions including the BookWorms and the Pantochino Monkey and The Bridgeport Bluefish Mascot “BB”! Face painting, henna tattoos, Capture it All Photo Booth will be available as well. The Kids Zone will offer a full day of activities with a Steve Hine batting cage, Super Fun Giant Inflatable Rides, Rolling Video Game Truck and children’s games.
The Craft Fair and Vendor Exhibit which will be open throughout the event. Attendees will find unique items for sale in the exhibit area. Food will be available throughout the day at the food court. Joey C’s Roadhouse BBQ, Dominos Pizza, Rita’s Ices of Milford, Old Fashioned Kettle Corn and the Milford Elks will be serving fine food for all. Official Duck Race Merchandise will once again be available for sale on the day of the event.
