MILFORD, CT — Health inspectors cited 25 food establishments for violations in September, according to Hearst Connecticut Media. That number is up from 10 the month before.

A hotel, a soup kitchen, a wedding venue, and two public schools were among those receiving priority violations, which are considered serious infractions that must be corrected within 72 hours.

Usually these violations are corrected on the spot. However, one restaurant had its license briefly suspended after an inspector found a pest issue.
