The tragedy that occurred on April 25th at Jonathan Law High School shook the entire school community, its students and their families, the teachers, administrators and staff; as well as the citizens of Milford.

These employees selflessly donated their time and expertise from the moment they learned of the event.

They coordinated with each other to ensure that the clients for Human Services and Milford Youth and Family Services were provided for; and then worked tirelessly alongside the clinical staff to provide grief counseling and other appropriate therapeutic services at the school.

They donated their time throughout two weekends and every weekday evening, while still carrying out their workday duties and obligations at Human Services, and at the other City schools.

They demonstrated a high level of professionalism, compassion, generosity, and positive attitude under the most difficult circumstances. The Mayor is most pleased to bestow this honor to Mindy, Christie and Annaliese for their outstanding work performance and continued service to the City of Milford.

 Again, congratulations!"
