Milford Ice Hockey Coach Placed On Leave From School Security Job

Parents are questioning the future of the program.

MILFORD, CT — Parents of the Milford Indians Hockey program are questioning the team's future after Head Coach Sal Follo had been placed on leave from his security job at Joseph A. Foran High School, the Milford Mirror reports.

Some people have complained about Follo's coaching style, but school officials are adamant that the program will continue next year. Some parents don't want Follo to return because of how he treats players, the Mirror reports.

Follo's attorney told the Milford Mirror that for 24 years his client has been a great coach, is well-known and has been honored statewide for his coaching. His attorney said any allegations that his client has been abusive toward players is completely unfounded.
