Milford K-9 Unit Saves Woman’s Life: Police

MILFORD, CT — Milford Police Officer Kevin Hilliard and his K-9 partner Tyson are being credited with saving a woman’s life late Wednesday night at Mondo Pond.

“Outstanding work by Officer Hilliard and his partner, Tyson, who located a suicidal party wading into Mondo Pond late Wednesday night,” police wrote in a post on social media. “Officer Hilliard entered the chest-high water and was able to bring her back to the shore before the party or Officer Hilliard sustained any injury. And yes, Tyson is okay as well.”
