Milford LL 11U All-Star Softball Team Advances to State Finals

Milford LL victorious thanks to first inning boost

Milford LL 11U All-Star softball team knocked in seven runs in the first inning on its way to a 13-2 win over Wilton Wednesday night at Unity Park in Trumbull. Milford added 3 runs in both the second and third innings en route to the Semifinal win.

Ashley Borecki led the offense with 3 hits and 3 RBI and Mya Dawid drove in 3 with 2 hits. Angelina Robinson added 2 hits and 2 stolen bases from the lead off spot.

Judy Tarczali earned the win for Milford striking out 5 while giving 3 hits.

The 3-1 11U’s will now face Fairfield Thursday night at 5:30 at Unity Park in Trumbull.
