Milford Changes School Status: Update

MILFORD, CT — All Milford public and parochial schools including Platt Tech and Adult Education have cancelled classes Wednesday.

The announcement was made around 5:30 a.m.

A serious winter storm dropped snow and ice on the city Tuesday. The much discussed blizzard never materialized as the snow mixed with sleet in Milford by 10 a.m. significantly reducing accumulation. But if you've been outside shoveling tonight, the sleet made it very difficult.
