Milford Mall Institutes Parental Escort Policy After Fights

MILFORD, CT — The Connecticut Post mall will implement its parental escort policy this coming weekend.

Guests under 18-years-old must be accompanied by an adult who is 21 or older. The policy is in effect from 3 p.m. to close Friday Jan. 3 and form 1 p.m. until close Saturday Jan. 4.

One adult may supervise up to four youths. Anyone under 21-years-old should be prepared to show identification at the mall.

Mall officials said they will strictly enforce the policy.

Several fights broke out at the Milford mall the day after Christmas and the mall was temporarily closed. Several surrounding police departments responded due to the large number of fights.
