Milford Man, 68, Bangs on Victim's Car, Kicks Door in Road Rage Incident: Police
The accused told police that the victim's car struck his vehicle but police say there was no evidence to support that claim.

MILFORD, CT — A 68-year-old Milford man has been charged in a road rage incident, police said.
Police said on Dec. 27 at 5:30 p.m. officers were contacted about a road rage incident that occurred in the area of West Clark Street and the Boston Post Road.
Investigation led to the arrest of Edward Wooldridge, 68, of Pearl Street, who is accused of banging on the victims window in an aggressive manner and kicking the side door panel causing damage to the door, police said.

Wooldridge told police the victims vehicle had made contact with his vehicle on the Interstate 95 Exit 36 off-ramp which caused him to follow the victim's vehicle and get out and hit the victims vehicle while stopped at a traffic light, police said.
Police said their investigation showed neither vehicle had any damage.

Wooldridge is charged with second-degree breach of peace and third-degree criminal mischief. He is released on a promise to appear in Superior Court, Milford on Jan. 24.
