Milford Man Accused Of Stalking: Police

A Danbury police officer and Milford resident was placed on leave after being charged with stalking while on duty, state police say.

MILFORD, CT — A Danbury police officer and Milford resident has been placed on administrative leave following his arrest on a second-degree stalking charge.

Officer Myckol Rodriguez, 34, of Milford, turned himself in on Tuesday on an active arrest warrant borne of an investigation into his "conduct while on duty as a Danbury police officer," according to Connecticut State Police.

Rodriguez' activities came under suspicion during an internal investigation, according to an email from police spokesperson Erin Henry. The information discovered prompted Danbury police to contact the Danbury State's Attorney for guidance, and the State's Attorney's Office subsequently requested a criminal probe by the State Police.
