Milford Man Charged After Head-butting Security At Stonebridge: PD

MILFORD, CT — A Milford man was charged after he headbutted a security officer at Stonebridge restaurant after being asked to leave, according to police.

Andrew Marinelli, 21, of Milford slapped a patron at the restaurant July 2 and was escorted out by security officers, police said. He resisted efforts to leave and headbutted a private security officer during the incident.

Police officers investigated and obtained an arrest warrant for Marinelli, who was taken into custody on July 14. He was charged with third-degree assault and second-degree breach of peace. He was released on a promise to appear and is due in court Aug. 11.
