Milford Man Charged After Verbally Threatening to Run Over Family Members With a Car: Police

Police say the family members were engaged in a dispute, which allegedly escalated.

A Milford man is accused of verbally threatening to run over family members with his vehicle after a dispute, police said Tuesday.

On June 28, police said they took custody of Mikel Recalde, 32, of Rivercliff Drive in Milford, who is accused of threatening to harm two family members with his motor vehicle on June 13 in Milford.

Police said after the dispute with family members, Recalde got in his vehicle and allegedly told family members that he would run them over if they didn’t get out of his way.

Recalde is charged with second-degree threatening, second-degree breach of peace, second-degree reckless endangerment and reckless driving.

He is released on a promise to appear in Superior Court, Milford on July 28.
