Milford Man Charged With Assault on a Female

Milford police say on Wednesday officers responded to a Boston Post Road hotel on the complaint of a domestic violence incident.

Investigation led to the arrest of Jerrod Preston, 37, of Naugatuck Avenue, who is accused of engaging in a physical altercation with a female in the parking lot of the hotel, police said.

Preston is charged with second-degree breach of peace and third-degree assault. He was held on a $2,000 bond.
