Milford Man Pleads Guilty To Dealing Pills Containing Fentanyl: Feds
A Milford man pleaded guilty to drug-dealing charges and faces up to 40 years in prison, according to federal prosecutors.
MILFORD, CT — A Milford man pleaded guilty to dealing pills containing fentanyl, according to a statement from Vanessa Roberts Avery, U.S. Attorney for the District of Connecticut.
Wilson Guzman, Jr., 39, pleaded guilty to distribution of 40 grams or more of fentanyl. The crime carries a mandatory minimum prison term of five years and a maximum prison term of 40 years.
According to federal prosecutors, a DEA New Haven Task Force investigation found that Guzman advertised various drugs, including fake oxycodone pills containing fentanyl and fake Adderall pills containing methamphetamine, and other drugs, through an encrypted phone messaging application.

He then dealt the drugs to customers in person and through the U.S. mail. Guzman used locations in West Haven and North Haven to store and prepare drugs for distribution.
Between June and August 2023, investigators made controlled purchases of drugs from Guzman, including more than 1,000 counterfeit pills containing fentanyl, counterfeit Adderall containing methamphetamine, and psilocybin mushrooms.

Guzman was arrested Sept. 6, 2023. Investigators searched his Milford home and the West Haven and North Haven locations and seized various drugs, including methamphetamine pills, Xanax pills, psilocybin mushrooms, and approximately 20 kilograms of marijuana, as well as two "ghost guns," an AR-15 style rifle and a Glock-style Polymer 80 handgun that had no serial numbers.
He is scheduled for sentencing Aug. 9. Guzman is detained pending sentencing.
