Milford Man Sends Threatening Facebook Message, Involves Image of a Gun: Police

Milford police say they located the gun and it turned out to be a BB gun.

MILFORD, CT — A Milford man has been charged after posting a threatening message on Facebook, which involved an image of a gun, police said.

Police said on Wednesday the department received a complaint of a possible threatening incident.

Investigation led to the arrest of Cody Chizmadia, 20, of Hazelwood Avenue, who is accused of sending a Facebook message to another male showing a gun and stating "You Know You (expletive) Up," police said.

The gun was located by officers and found to be a BB gun, police said.

Chizmadia is charged with first-degree threatening and released on a promise to appear in Superior Court, Milford on August 23.
