Milford Man Stabs Tires With an Ice Pick, Bites a Person: Police

Milford police say they also found a sword in the man's vehicle.

Milford police say 7 p.m. Sunday they received a complaint of a man stabbing vehicle tires in a parking lot on Broadway.

Investigation led to the arrest of Michael Amatrudo, 57, of High Street, who is accused of damaging two vehicles’ tires with an ice pick, biting a person and thretening to harm others at the scene, police said.

Police also located a sword inside Amatrudo’s vehicle.

He is charged with third-degree assault, threatening, third-degree criminal mischief, weapons in a motor vehicle, breach of peace, and second-degree criminal attempt to commit assault.

He was held in lieu of a $100,000 bond.
