Milford Man Stole $3.5k From Candy Shop: PD
A Milford man is accused of burglarizing a Milford candy shop and stealing $3,500 worth of merchandise, police said.
MILFORD, CT — A Milford man was arrested after he stole more than $3,500 in merchandise from the Candy Shop on Broad Street, according to police.
George Jennings, 27, was arrested Feb. 7 on an active arrest warrant.
Jennings damaged the front door when he broke into the shop in October 2021, police said.

He is charged with third-degree larceny, third-degree burglary and second-degree criminal mischief. He was released on a promise to appear and is due in court March 7.
