Milford Man Tries to Eat Heroin; Milford Teen, Hides Heroin in Her Pants: Police

Milford police say members of the department's Narcotics Unit interrupted a drug deal and two of the accuseds tried to hide the evidence.

Milford, CT - When the Milford Police Department's Narcotics Unit interrupted a drug transaction in progress Thursday in a Boston Post Road parking lot, that's when things got interesting.

One suspect tried to eat the heroin and another stuffed it down her pants in an effort to avoid an arrest, police said in a news release.

Police said the observed the drug transaction occurred in a parking lot near Exit 39 of Interstate 95.

During the investigation detectives learned that Jason Jacobs Jr., 26, of 33 Bird Lane, Milford, sold heroin to

William Clements, 24, of 1052 Boston Post Road, in the parking lot just prior to detectives arriving, police said. Clements attempted to eat the heroin in front of the detectives, but was unsuccessful, police said. Additional heroin was recovered from Jacobs, police added.

The Milford Police Departments trained narcotics detection K-9 "Cedar" was utilized to sniff
for additional narcotics. Cedar alerted to the front pants area of Stephanie Pallas, 19, of 174
Edgemont Road who was there with Jacobs, police said. This alert indicated she had narcotics hidden down the front of her pants, police said.

Clements is charged with:

Possession of Heroin

Destruction of Evidence

Interfering with Officers

Pallas is charged with:

Possession of Heroin

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Two bags of heroin were recovered from inside her pants.

All parties were released on promise to appears in Milford Court on July 12.
