Milford Mayor Updates Residents About Status Of Power Outages
Tropical Storm Isaias knocked out power to more than 10,000 Milford homes at one point.

MILFORD, CT — A total of 282 Milford households or 1.2 percent of the city is still without power as of Sunday evening.
Mayor Ben Blake said UI crews are working to bring neighborhoods back online.
"I have been in constant communication with UI leadership urging for a complete restoration and I will continue to do so until power is restored to all Milford residents," Blake said.

"As we continue our recovery, please make note of the following:
· Stay away from downed power lines or areas in which a tree or limb is on a line. Always assumed power lines are live and do not touch or move any downed lines.

· Move all storm-related vegetative debris to the curb line for pick-up by Milford Department of Public Works crews. These pick-ups will be completed on a rolling basis.
· Please be mindful of any hanging limbs or storm debris while utilizing the City’s open spaces, parks, and playgrounds. We are in the process of cleaning up these areas.
· If you are without power and are in need of assistance, please call 211.
