Milford Mother and Son Accused of Stealing Neighbor's Safes on Thanksgiving
Police said the mother and son broke into their neighbors house and stole the safes and $9,000 in valuables.

Milford police say a mother and son allegedly broke into a neighbor’s house and stole two safes on Thanksgiving with valuables inside totaling $9,000, NBC Connecticut reports.
Police said they received a complaint regarding a residential burglary at a Bridgeport Avenue residence.
Investigation revealed that the resident came home and found that two safes inside the home has been removed, police said.

The damaged safes and some of the contents were located at a neighbor’s residence, which resulted in the arrests of Laurie Edding, 50, of Bridgeport Avenue, and her son, Christopher Warren, 31, of Bridgeport Avenue, for their alleged involvement in the thefts.
Police said the Edding and Warren knew the victims.

They were each charged with several larceny and burglary charges and were held on $5,000 bond.
