Milford National Lou Gehrig Little League Wins Another Championship!
Milford National Lou Gehrig 10U tournament team coached by Ron Mastroni wins the Seabreeze Tournament by defeating West Haven!
The Milford National Lou Gehrig Little League 10U Tournament Team coached by Ron Mastroni recently won the Seabreeze District 4 Tournament. The team played the tournament 8-0 winning both the semi-finals and Championship game in only 4 innings. It was a total team effort with everyone contributing.
The team consisted of Jeanero King, Michael Neider, Ronnie Mastroni, Charlie Becker, Jackson Doyle, Derek Rainey, Connor Seabrooks, Michael Merchant, Jackson Smith, Matt Savo, Tyler Bassett and Michael Chesson. Not pictured was Matthew Fehmel. Head Coach Ron Mastroni was assisted by Trevor Doyle, Rob Chesson and Brian Rainey.
It has been a banner summer for the Milford National Lou Gehrig Little League. Milford National won the 10U, 11U and 12U District Championships. With Mastroni's victory it gives Milford National 4 Championships for the summer. This feat has never been done in the City's history. The District is made up of Milford National, Milford International, Orange, West Haven, Beth-Wood, Pop Smith, Annex, North Haven, East Haven, Branford, North Branford, Hamden and Cheshire. The summer of 2016 will go down in the history books as one of the most successful seasons any of the district teams have ever had.
