MILFORD, CT — Due to extreme heat, Milford is opening its three cooling centers.

The centers are located at the Public Library, the Beth El Shelter, and the Senior Center.

They will be open as listed, according to the city:

Beth-El Cooling Center Hours
90 New Haven Avenue
Each day in the Community Kitchen from the hours of 8 am until the end of dinner meal
service (around 6 or 7 pm).

Milford Public Library Cooling Center Hours
57 New Haven Avenue
Monday 10 am - 5pm
Tuesday 10 am - 8:30pm
Wednesday 10 am - 8:30pm

Senior Center Hours
9 Jepson Drive
Monday-Friday 8:30am to 5pm for Governor/City declared cooling.
