Milford PD Hiring Entry-Level Officers

MILFORD, CT — Milford police are again hiring for entry-level recruits.

Salary ranges from $63,679.10 to $77,292.28. Other benefits include 13 paid holidays, 15 sick days per year, up to 29 vacation days per year and a pension plan with retirement available after 25 years of service.

The application deadline is Jan. 1, 2023.

Recently, the department was staffed slightly below 2012 levels. A class of recruits is scheduled to graduate in December. Other departments around the state and country have had the same, if not worse recruitment issues, Chief Keith Mello told the Board of Aldermen earlier this year.
