MILFORD, CT — A new indoor play space is coming to Cherry Street, offering families a safe and imaginative environment for young children.

The Planning and Zoning Board unanimously approved the proposal for Perfect Playdate, an indoor play center at 161-163 Cherry St. The space, designed for young children, will feature creative and soft play areas, ensuring a safe experience even for crawlers.

Jennifer Close, a Milford resident and mother of two, is behind the project. She said the town lacks dedicated spaces for younger children and hopes to fill the gap with a welcoming hub for families.

Perfect Playdate will occupy a leased space in a shopping center. Some interior renovations are planned to transform the former eyelash studio and vacant unit into the new play area.

Board members praised the concept, calling it a great addition to the community.

An opening date has not been announced.
