Milford Police Charge Man For Assaulting Woman, Stealing Her Purse

It took two and half years to solve this alleged assault/robbery in Milford, but police say they got their man.

Milford police said Miguel Cuatepotzo, 29, of Dogburn Road in West Haven, is accused of assaulting an acquaintance and forcefully taking her pursue while her child was present.

Police said on June 20, 2012, they received a complaint regarding an assault/robbery that occurred in the Westfield Connecticut Post mall parking lot.

Investigation led to an arrest warrant being issued for Cuatepotzo, who is accused of assaulting the acquaintance.

A second warrant accused the suspect of failing to appear in court for motor vehicle violations he is accused of committing in Derby.

Cuatepotzo is charged with assault, larceny, breach of peace and risk of injury to a minor. He was released after posting $11,000 bond.
