Thieves Use Rope, SUV To Bust Out ATM In Milford Gas Station Burglary
Thieves hooked up an ATM to their vehicle, then smashed it out the doors of a Milford gas station overnight, according to a report.

MILFORD, CT — Police are investigating a break-in at a New Haven Avenue gas station, Hearst Connecticut reported. Police said the incident appeared to be a burglary.
Galaxy Fuel gas station's doorway had been smashed and items appeared to be strewn around the store.
A Galaxy Fuel manager told WFSB 3-TV that thieves used a rope and their vehicle to steal an ATM from the store.

The three criminals drove up to the store around 3 a.m. Tuesday. After popping the locked doors, they tied the rope around the ATM, attached it to the back of their SUV, then hit the accelerator. The machine launched out of the doors.
The manager said that there was about $1,000 in the machine.
