Milford Police Make Armed Robbery Arrest
Police had already arrested the alleged accomplice in May.

Milford police say Angel Ortiz, 45, of an uncertain address, is accused robbing Indigo Cafe at gunpoint on April 20.
Police said they received a complaint regarding an armed robbery that occurred at the 1 Schooner Lane cafe. Investigation revealed that two suspects allegedly entered the business and to an undisclosed amount of money at gunpoint, police said.
Ortiz and an accomplice were identified as suspects resulting in warrants being issued for their arrests. Ortiz was arraigned and is currently being held in custody by the state of Connecticut Department of Corrections.

Ortiz was charged with first-degree robbery, first-degree burglary, third-degree larceny and numerous conspiracy charges. He was held in lieu of $65,000 bond.
