Milford Police: Man Accused of Assaulting His Wife with a Bat

Milford police said they received a domestic violence disturbance complaint for a residence on Meetinghouse Lane.

Investigation led to an arrest warrant being issued for John Tufaro, 58, of Meetinghouse Lane.

He is accused of throwing a bat at his wife during an argument and striking her in the head causing a minor injury, police said.

Tufaro is charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.

He was released on a promise to appear in Superior Court, Milford on Monday.
