Milford Police Seek To ID Witnesses In Fatal Car Fire

Police believe there were four people who witnessed a car fire near the Connecticut Audubon Society in which a person was found dead.

MILFORD, CT — Police are searching for four people they believe are witnesses to a car fire near the Audubon Society on Saturday night. A person was found dead in the car, according to police.

The Milford Fire Department responded to a call at 10:20 p.m. and found a fully involved car fire in the woods about 75 feet away from the Connecticut Audubon Society Building.

The fire was extinguished and did not spread into the building.

One person was found dead in the vehicle. Police did not release the person’s name nor the cause of death, saying the case is still under investigation

POSSIBLE WITNESSES in Car Fire on Saturday, 12/07/24 around 10:30pm.

Milford Police are looking to make contact with four individuals who are believed to be witnesses in the car fire from 12/07 near the Audubon Society. Please take a close look and see if you recognize these individuals (teenagers/young adults) as well as the vehicle who were in the area at the time of the fire.
